Chuck House
Chuck House was most recently the Chancellor of Cogswell College. He has extensive university and industry experience – previously leading mediaX at Stanford for several years. He has had a long entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial career with both start-ups and turn-arounds, in addition to major activities with Hewlett-Packard and Intel Corporations.
Mr. House, an ACM and IEEE Fellow, was an ACM President and an IEEE Vice-President. Recipient of numerous industry awards, he is perhaps best known for winning The HP Medal of Defiance from David Packard for completing a pioneering computer graphics box. He is co-author of The HP Phenomenon: Innovation and Business Transformation (Stanford Press, 2009), and Logic Circuits and Microcomputer Systems (McGraw-Hill).
