Karina Alexanyan is a social scientist and administrator, working on the relationship between technology and society, with a focus on media and education. She has over 20 years of experience directing international programs and conducting research and analysis on global media, technology and society for a range of clients, including Stanford, Harvard and Columbia Universities. Dr. Alexanyan holds a PhD in Communications from Columbia University School of Journalism. She supports mediaX in technical writing and research documentation.
